Yesterday I had my second root canal here in a little more than a year. I saw Dr. Brand both times. I've been very impressed with his professionalism and friendliness and that of the staff. They made sure to fully inform me ahead of time what procedures needed to be done and why, and how much it would cost me after insurance. During both procedures, they tried to make me as comfortable as possible (it honestly wasn't that bad). The office also called me the next day to ask how I was doing, and they include a free follow-up exam and X-ray 6 - 12 months later to check on how the tooth has healed. Highly recommended.

I don't like getting dental work done but I seriously needed a root canal. I came this office expecting a cold sterile environment but to my surprise it was very comfortable and relaxing. The gal at the front desk was absolutely wonderful. The entire staff was excellent, kind, and welcoming. Dr. Harold did impeccable work. He is very skilled and has very calming energy and made me feel comfortable every step of the way. They set me up with some good quality headphones and I listened to Pandora the whole time. I felt good after the appointment and had no problems. I don't have insurance, but I think I got a great deal for the kind of work I got. I wouldn't think of going anywhere else for this kind of work.

Professional, courteous, and kind, just what you want from your dental professional when facing a root canal. Dr. Brand explained everything they would do and why in a calm and reassuring manner. The procedure was relatively quick and smooth. And in under 24 hours my teeth felt better than they had in months!

I was referred to Doctor Herold by another specialist! Doctor Harold and his staff are exceptional. I drive over 3 hours to see him and it's totally worth it. I would not trust anyone else. He uses all the latest tools with care and precision. Thank you for your expert and thoughtful care!

I can unequivocally state that both Drs. Brand and Herold are wonderful endodontists and caring and compassionate persons. Their entire staff is wonderful. They scheduled me right away and spent a lot of time assessing my complicated dental problem and then setting to work to fix it. I had two root canals and the procedure was comfortable and painless. I even watched an episode of Seinfeld during it. Their offices are clean and beautiful. Their fees were more than fair, for which I was extremely appreciative since I had no insurance and large bills from previous visits to an oral surgeon to rule out things. I am still a work in progress but I feel confident that I am receiving the best care possible.

If ever you need a root canal, Torrey Pines Micro Endodontics is definitely the place to go! Dr. Herold and Dr. Brand run any amazing practice. From the moment you enter the front door, you sense tranquility and peace, with the beautiful decor in the very comfortable reception area and waiting room. It was especially helpful to be able to watch a NetFlix video during the procedure. That distraction from everything that was going on in my mouth made the time go by fast and painlessly. This was my best experience with a root canal ever!

I was putting some crowns on last year and before placing them on my dentist sent me to doctor Keven Herold's office to check my root canals. Good thing he did because I needed to work on my root canals because I had an infection deep by the root. Doctor Herold's office has great 3D equipment that was able to detect that. Overall my experience was outstanding! The staff were able to get me appointments early in the morning to fit my schedule and doctor Herold treated me with much care and respect. He thoroughly explained to me the problems I had so I knew what he was going to do before we started the treatment. Now it's a year later and I had a follow up appointment to check it the treatment was succesful. Again, I came in and had a great follow up at his office, we took 3D scans of my root canals and determined that my root canals are healthy now and everything healed up nicely. I highly recommend this office! And I'm the future if I'll need any root canal work I'm not going anywhere else but Keven Herold's office!
