After entering into this program they removed all of my top teeth, six implants on the top, two implants on the bottom. I was told this would take six months to complete the process, it took 18 months, 12 of those with no top teeth because the denture would not stay in place. The staff and dentists had no concern for me as a patient. Many times the work done had to be done again and again. When I was given a price of over $10,000 I was told they did not file insurance but I could. When I did file insurance I was told the codes were incorrect. After contacting the office I was told, "Because we are a nonprofit organization and we do not file with insurance we create codes that allow for these discounted prices and package prices that we offer." So now the entire price has been paid by me with no help from insurance. I would NOT recommend!!!

I saw Dr. McCracken at Foundry Dental after two front teeth broke in half. I paid $3600 for removal of all my upper teeth, a temporary denture and a permanent one, which I was promised in18 months. The temporary denture didn’t fit and I was unable to wear it. The first attempt at a permanent denture didn’t fit either and had to be completely remade. Multiple appointments were canceled but not until I had driven 30 miles to the clinic. The reason was usually that some piece of equipment needed for a procedure was missing. So, very long story short, it took 4 YEARS NOT 18 MONTHS to get a permanent upper denture! Four years without any upper teeth, a humiliating experience. The dentist who finally finished my denture, a man who worked at Foundry Dental one day a week “putting out fires” (his words) told me that McCracken’s group could have easily finished the job in 18 months. The only reason I didn’t ask for a refund was that I was told other places charged even more.

Dr McCracken is an owner of the Foundry Dental in Bessemer.
I began the process of having dental implants there in February and had my first appointment in early June.
After receiving my misfitted temporary dentures I asked for a refund and decided to finish the work elsewhere.
Since then so far I have had to have 2 of the eight implanted studs cut out due to terrible abscess and infection at a tremendous extra cost of over $2500 so far.
I have tried to contact Dr McCracken but he has refused to return my phone calls and emails.
It is my opinion that this man and his firms are a waste of your hard earned money
