Run don’t walk from this dental practice. I was a patient for several years. At first I was pleased with my care. I had my teeth cleaned every 6 months however saw a different dentist for most examinations. In my opinion that isn’t the best for dental care. My last appointment the dentist I saw told me I needed 3 dental caps and several fillings and was strongly suggested to get braces. As I was more than a bit concerned about the costs, I was told to work out the financing with the girls up front. What a way to treat your staff and patient. Needless to say I was not very happy with what this dentist had to say so I saw another dentist for a second opinion, I may require 1 cap and 2 new fillings. Avoid this practice unless you like spending money on dental work which you really don’t require.

Dr. Lim's office...Let me start with the good:

- The doctors-though there is far too much turnover-are good
- The hygienists are great

That's it. There's nothing else that is good about this office. The front office is terrible. They do not schedule correctly, they do not re-schedule correctly, they do not quote correctly, they collect too much money always, and if you want to be treated poorly, they're really good at that. They can't even cancel all of your appointments when you quit them as a patient without calling you several times to try to re-schedule you.

The back office. If the front office is terrible, then the back office is abysmal. They are the worst of the worst. They do not know insurance and cannot answer simple insurance questions. They do not bill in the office and therefore, timely billing and filing is simply out of the question. They will always ask for money without knowing what you actually owe, and you will always overpay. When you do end up owing money, you won't know until months later, because they don't bill with any regularity-so expect mysterious bills and balances if you are a patient here.

After several years and several office staffs, my family and I decided we would no longer tolerate the headache of Dr. Lim's poor staff, poor policies, and expensive service. It's just too much. Steve: Take this advice to heart, because I'm not the only one with the same story.

We will miss the relationships we have with our wonderful hygienists, but I'm happy to leave the baggage of this place behind.

Went in for a root canal and a crown for my front tooth. I have a very distinct gap that is extremely hard to replicate, but Dr. Lim and his staff were very patient and did not stop until they got it completely right. I appreciate all of their hard work. They are very efficient with reminding you of your appointment time and date by phone and by text. Very client oriented and always made sure I was happy with the result. Answered all my questions and everyone was very friendly. Will definitely return and highly recommend!

I had such a great experience with Dr. Lim and his staff!

I needed to get a dental implant and had originally had a consult with a different Dentist/Oral Surgeon in the area (David Li, in Sunnyvale.) He told me flat out the implant would be impossible because of the way my roots were positioned, and that I needed to see my Orthodontist about getting braces AGAIN--I got braces initially for the sole reason of making room for the implant! My Orthodontist recommended I get a second opinion about the possibility of having the implant procedure, and referred me to Dr. Lim.

Dr. Lim immediately put me at ease and reassured me that there was no reason I would need to get braces again; my roots provided plenty of space to fit the implant. The level of care his team provided went above and beyond. They went over every step of the process, and even prioritized my visits around my tight schedule--I was able to have the surgery done within two months of leaving for college. On the day of the surgery, Dr. Lim made sure to sit down with me and go over any questions I had, explain what he would do, and make sure I wasn't feeling too nervous about the procedure. His assistant even positioned the TV and handed me the remote to choose a show to watch while they worked! Once the surgery was over, Dr. Lim went over aftercare and even gave me his cell phone number incase I had any questions or concerns. He and his team will continue to coordinate with me throughout my first semester, and when I return for winter break they will complete the final stage.

Also, they charged far less than the estimate the first Oral Surgeon I consulted with gave me.

I feel very lucky to be in such good hands, and I'll continue to recommend his services! Thank you, Dr. Lim!

I saw Dr Lim to have two teeth extractions, bone graft & prep for implants. Never before in my life time has any dentist who's done extractions on me been so precise at removing teeth until Dr Lim. I didn't even feel/know that he had pulled my long rooted, huge molar; no pain at all!
He is just the best dentist ever & that's why I keep coming back to him!! Dr Lim has done extensive dental treatments on me for the past 2 years including 3 implants, 13 crowns & super bad decaying (not by my fault) due to a very, very dry mouth. I can't say enough about him & I praise his work every time!
Dr Lim did my full mouth restoration that looks great/near perfect results!! He is a true perfectionist!!! This has lifted my spirits, my self esteem & I know that I will ONLY let Dr Lim touch my mouth in the future!
His new staff is awesome: the best you'll find anywhere from Wendy & Taylor at the front desk to his assistants Jennifer & Bernadette. They are ALL friendly, helpful & great at their jobs!! I can't forget to mention Lisa - Office Manager who worked with my financial planning & accommodated my exact needs. But, my favorite overall is Dr Steve Lim, sorry ladies but he's my main man!! You can tell he enjoys his work & making people smile because he truly gives you that esthetically beautiful, perfect looking smile!! I'm so happy with my smile now!! Go see Dr Lim if you need teeth work & you'll be rewarded too!!!!!!!

I'm someone who is generally distrustful of dentists mostly stemming from bad experiences as a child - unneeded procedures, repeated visits over the same issues, etc.. Dr. Lim and his staff are so professional and upstanding that I believe everyone should go see him. He's helped me with multiple issues stemming from bad procedures with my previous dentists - an infection stemming from a clump of cement not cleaned up under my gum and a molar that was incorrectly treated as a result of a root canal. My oral hygiene has improved immensely and i'm no longer feeling the pain that I had been suffering from for years. I highly recommend Dr Lim and his staff!

I had a full mouth reconstruction done by Steve and his team since I had a bad accident car accident that left teeth ruined. They gave me implants that look amazing and it didn't hurt at all to get them.

Going in to see Steve was the best decision I could of made. I used to feel very uncomfortable smiling in public places but after I went in to receive my implants, my confidence has sky rocketed and it has substantially changed my life for the better...had to write a review about it.
